Straight up nobody hugged Harry Potter from the ages of 2-11 can we discuss this

Nobody hugged Severus Snape from the ages of 0 to 38, just saying.

Nobody hugged Severus Snape probably because if someone shows Severus Snape kindness he becomes insanely obsessed with them and refuses to leave them alone and calls them racial slurs when they express that they want to be left alone and will one day walk over their husband’s dead body and cradle their lifeless form in his arms while the baby screams

Go OFF

S L A Y

(Going back to the original point, the reason this didn’t fuck up Harry too much, is because he got plenty of hugs before he was 2. There’s a lot of psychological stuff about the subject, but basically, if you get a lot of love, and hugs etc before you’re 2 you’ll have pretty health relationships for the rest of your life. The fact Harry didn’t get hugs for 9/10 years is horrible, yes, but technically not psychologically damaging.)
(It said discuss.)

I think one of the most important phrases I’ve ever heard is “hurt people hurt people”. With this in mind I believe Harry Potter named his children the way he did to send the entire wizard in world a powerful message. People like the Weasleys or Hagrid would make good namesakes but Harry wants to show that it is important to love everyone, no matter what their past or how far gone they may seem. He shows this time and time again in actions like saving Malfoy from the fiendfyre.

Or, because women don’t need to take over a franchise made famous by men to be famous, how about we just create amazing new stories with women leads that stand all on their own.
